'Unite your party and leave GoldBod alone' - Hohoe MP tells Volta NPP Chairman

Ghana’s development must reach the people, leaders must be accountable - Edith Dzigbordi Baku According to the Hohoe MP, it was particularly disappointing that the NPP Regional Chairman in the Volta Region was relying on the claim to score political points and divert attention from what he described as a political mess created within the party following the Chairman’s election.

Turning his attention to development in Hohoe and across the Volta Region, the MP said the broader economic environment was creating opportunities for government to manage public finances more effectively, reduce excessive dependence on borrowing and preserve resources for development.

The MP further argued that GoldBod’s activities have direct implications for the Volta Region because of the region’s extensive commercial activities with neighbouring Togo.
