Push alerts need the live site in a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari). Open ghanasummary.com there to switch them on.
Alerts FAQs
How do GhanaSummary alerts work?
Switch on browser alerts once, then pick interests. Breaking news reaches everyone; Black Stars, jobs and money alerts go only to subscribers who asked for them. No account, no email, unsubscribe anytime from your browser settings.
Will I get spammed?
No. Breaking pushes are reserved for major stories (with a cooldown between sends), and interest alerts only fire when something in that topic genuinely breaks.
Which browsers support alerts?
Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on the live site. If the button does nothing, your browser or device has notifications blocked — check site settings.
