Ghana Police arrest former Boxer, Ayitey Powers over alleged death threat against NSA Boss

Juliana Obeng, Chief Superintendent and Head of Public Affairs for the Accra Region and issued on 24th August 2026 by the Regional Public Affairs Unit of the Ghana Police Service, the 46-year-old was taken into custody following the circulation of a video on social media in which he is alleged to have issued the threat.

The Accra Regional Command has assured the public that inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident and that appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the law.
