Examine backgrounds of existing EC commissioners before you make noise – NPP told

Jean Mensah is the Electoral Commission Chairperson NDC communicator Rashid Tanko-Computer has challenged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to examine the backgrounds of existing Electoral Commission (EC) members before questioning the political neutrality of newly appointed Deputy Chairperson Emelia Afi Agbenyo.“Go and check who appointed them and where their background is,” he said, urging the public to consider whether the same objections were being applied consistently.

Tanko cited Professor Appiahene, whom he said had served as an NPP regional election director, and Hajia Salima Ahmed Tijani, whose political background he also questioned.
