2028 Olympic Qualifiers: 'We can go all the way' - Bjorkegren after Black Queens win over Mauritius

Ghana's Black Queens have taken a major step towards qualifying for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games after defeating Mauritius 7–0 in the second leg of their qualifying tie at the Essipong Stadium. The emphatic victory secured a 10–0 aggregate win for Ghana. Head coach Kim Lars Björkegren believes the team has the potential to go all the way, although he acknowledges that the road to Olympic qualification will be challenging. Ghana will face Zambia in the third round of the African qualifiers, scheduled for February 23 to March 6, 2027. With only two African nations set to qualify for the women's Olympic football tournament, the Black Queens face a tough challenge as they pursue their first-ever appearance at the Games. #NewsDesk
