Garment & Textile Industries: AGI pushes local products to meet security services' apparel demand

The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) is pushing for locally manufactured garments and textiles to meet the apparel and uniform needs of Ghana's security services. The proposal presents an opportunity to strengthen domestic manufacturing, create jobs, and expand the market for Ghanaian garment producers. Increased local procurement could also help businesses grow, reduce reliance on imported apparel and support the development of the country's textile value chain.
