Rev. Wengam re-elected General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana

Kwadwo Bempah of Holy Hill Chapel in the Adabraka District of Accra West Region was elected Assistant General Superintendent, while Rev.

Wengam to office for another four-year term and completed the process of electing the church’s top leadership team, with new office holders also elected to the positions of Assistant General Superintendent and General Secretary and General Treasurer.

He secured nearly 90 per cent of the votes cast in elections held during the church’s 32nd Biennial General Council Meeting at Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region on Friday (August 21, 2026).
