Chamber of Mines backs government’s Adamus revival plan

The Ghana Chamber of Mines has commended the Government for what it describes as a major step towards resolving the longstanding impasse involving Adamus Resources Limited, describing the development as a positive signal for investor confidence and the future of indigenous mining in the country.

The latest development comes amid renewed efforts by government and industry stakeholders to enhance the performance of Ghana’s mining sector, which remains one of the country’s leading sources of export earnings, employment and foreign exchange.

The Chamber noted that Adamus Resources occupies a strategic position within Ghana’s mining landscape as one of the country’s few indigenous large-scale mining operations.
