NSMQ 2026: ‘Wey Gey Hey’ shrugs off SIMMS SHS, Nkwatia Presby to secure one-eighth spot

Wesley Girls’ High School completed a remarkable comeback in their Preliminary stage contest to secure a spot in the One-Eighth stage of the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), sweeping aside SIMMS SHS and Nkwatia Presby SHS while pocketing three cash prizes along the way.‎‎Round Three proved to be a more decisive round as Wesley Girls stretched their advantage to 31 points, with SIMMS trailing with 15 points and Nkwatia Presby on 13 before adding another reward to their growing haul.‎‎A perfect 10 out of 10 in the third round earned the school the Prudential Life NSMQ Star cash prize of GH¢2,000.
