Ghana Sports Fund urges sports federations to submit credible proposals and measurable targets

The Administrator of the Ghana Sports Fund, Dr David Kofi Wuaku, has challenged national sports federations to take greater responsibility for their development plans and demonstrate how proposed funding will improve athlete development and sporting performance.
Identify your priority needs, prepare credible proposals, establish realistic budgets and measurable targets, and demonstrate how the support you seek will improve athlete development and sporting performance,” he said.
He also encouraged federations to explore partnerships with corporate Ghana, private investors and development partners, stressing that reliance on funding requests alone would not provide a sustainable basis for sports development.
