Geological Investigations for Small-Scale MiningDistinguished Ladies and Gentlemen, as part of Government's efforts to promote responsible and sustainable small-scale mining, the Authority, with the support of the Ghana Gold Board and the Minerals Development Fund, has commenced mineral exploration within designated areas earmarked for small-scale mining operations.

Establishment of Land BanksAs part of Government's commitment to promoting industrialisation and private sector-led investment, the Ministry is supporting the implementation of the Land Bank Project, a strategic Government initiative aimed at facilitating access to land for large-scale oil palm cultivation and value-added processing.

RESPONSIBLE COOPERATIVE MINING AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (rCOMSDEP)Ladies and Gentlemen, the Ministry, during the period under review, made progress towards transforming the small-scale mining sector through formalization of mining operations, capacity building, digital innovation, and skills development.
