Ellembelle DCE supports 69 PWDs with GH¢460,097 in items and cash

Some beneficiaries also received financial assistance for livelihood-generating activities The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle in the Western Region, Joseph Agyekum, has presented assorted items and cash support worth GH¢460,097 to 69 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the district.

This will enable us to track those who have benefited and those yet to benefit, so that in the end, no person with disability is left out of the Assembly’s support programmes,” he said.

Joseph Agyekum pledged to continue supporting PWDs in the district and advised beneficiaries against begging on the streets, urging them instead to use the support to become productive and self-reliant.
