Eastern poultry farmers adopt amended constitution to strengthen sector

14, GNA – The Eastern Region Poultry Farmers Association (ERPFA) has adopted an amended constitution to strengthen cooperation among members, improve farmers’ representation and support the growth of the poultry industry.
Nana Kwame Effah, the Acting Chairperson of the Association, said the amendment aimed to build a more inclusive and coordinated organisation, encourage grassroots participation and strengthen cooperation among poultry farmers.
Mr Alex Asamoah-Bonti, Vice Chairperson of the Association, said poultry farming offered an accessible entry point into agriculture, with relatively low start-up costs, the potential for quick returns and regular cash flow.
