Communication ministry targets 100,000 digitally enabled jobs in 2 years

The Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has said the ministry is working assiduously to create 100,000 digitally enabled jobs in the next two years through an ongoing one million coders programme.
During a courtesy call on the KNUST management, Mr George said the ministry would give policy direction while the university led the charge to realise the full benefits of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Mr George, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ningo Prampram Constituency, said this in an interview with the media after a field to centres where beneficiaries of the government’s one million coders programme were being trained in the Ashanti Region.
