CEA records milestone as first KG cohort transits pupils to JHS in Ellembelle District

The District Director of CEA, Shaibu Issaka, stakeholders, parents, and community members in Onsonyameye described the transition as proof that complementary education is delivering on its mandate of providing a second chance for out-of-school children to access quality education.

The community members, however, appealed to the government of the day to construct a JHS facility in Onsonyameye to accommodate the JHS 1 cohort so that the pupils would not have to travel long distances to other communities to access Junior High School.

Parents and community members expressed joy and gratitude, noting that the transition gives hope to many other children in the district who previously had no access to formal schooling.
