CAF raises annual funding for member associations to $700,000

Share: The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has increased its annual funding for each of its 54 member associations by 33% to $700,000, in a move aimed at strengthening football development and improving financial sustainability across the continent.
CAF says the increased investment forms part of its broader ambition to develop world-class football systems across all 54 member associations and support their pursuit of long-term financial independence.
The revised allocations also extend to CAF’s zonal unions, whose annual funding will rise by $150,000 under the new arrangement.
