Auditor-General wasn’t given full picture of GoldBod’s GH₵22b-linked losses – Afenyo-Markin  

The Minority Leader, who is also the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Effutu, said some of the costs from GoldBod’s transactions were absorbed by the Bank of Ghana and were not fully captured in the Auditor-General’s assessment.

If the Auditor-General knows that indeed the costs of GoldBod’s transaction were borne by the Bank of Ghana, it would not declare a surplus in its accounting reporting,” he said.
