“Invite me to Parliament” – Sammy Gyamfi dares Afenyo-Markin over GoldBod loss claims

The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) says it is ready to appear before Parliament to account for its financial and operational performance amid claims by the Minority linking the institution to losses under the Domestic Gold Purchase Programme (DGPP).

Let me reiterate my challenge to Afenyo Markin that I am ready any day and time to appear before any committee of Parliament to discuss the operational and financial health of the GoldBod.

Chief Executive Officer of GoldBod, Sammy Gyamfi, issued the challenge on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, saying the institution had nothing to hide and was prepared to subject its operations to parliamentary scrutiny.
