45% diagnosed with hypertension as MP Bissue’s 'Mobile Clinic' reaches Agona Nkwanta residents

Afful expressed optimism that the medical outreach would have a lasting impact on the health and well-being of residents, especially market women, by encouraging early detection and treatment of diseases while promoting regular health screening.

Some patients receiving treatment More than 150 residents, predominantly market women and traders at Agona Nkwanta in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region, have benefited from a free medical screening exercise organised by the Member of Parliament for the area, Mavis Kuukua Bissue.

Afful attributed the high prevalence of hypertension to the inability of many traders to health facilities for regular medical check-ups due to their busy work schedules.
