Zanetor calls for measures to retain skilled nuclear scientists
9, GNA – Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, Minister of Environment, Science and Technology, has called for urgent measures to curb staff attrition at the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) and retain skilled nuclear scientists.
Professor Samuel Dampare, Director-General of GAEC, thanked the Minister for the and said the Commission would continue to collaborate with the Ministry to advance nuclear science and technology for Ghana’s benefit.
She said retaining specialised personnel was critical to sustaining research and building the expertise needed to support Ghana’s planned expansion of nuclear technology, including power generation.
