Awulae Blay IX welcomed the government’s decision and appealed to the Lands and Natural Resources Minister and the government to bring in a new mining investor who would listen to the concerns of the people of Ellembelle and contribute to the development of the area.

Buah announced the decision to uphold the revocation on Monday, August 10, 2026, when he addressed workers and community members at the Adamus Resources Limited plant site at Salman in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region.
