The campaign team of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Former Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has picked up nomination forms on his behalf to contest the party’s national chairmanship position.

The move comes despite Chairman Wontumi currently serving a 20-year prison sentence following his conviction on six illegal mining-related charges.“The Wontumi Campaign Team has today successfully picked up the nomination forms on behalf of Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi),” the statement said.
