Wiawso College of Education student produces raincoat, umbrella from empty water sachet

14, GNA – Miss Mary Mortoti, a Level 400 Home Economics student of Wiawso College of Education, has used empty water sachets to produce affordable raincoats and umbrellas for the Ghanaian market.“I am ready and willing to train others, especially the youth but this can materialise when I get grant from the government and youth development agencies, to help create jobs and empower many in my community,” Miss Mortoti.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Miss Mortoti explained that the idea was to do it for commercial purpose whilst helping to keep the environment clean.
