UK Opens Applications for 2027–2028 Chevening Scholarships

Speaking on the opening of this year’s Chevening application cycle, Chris Halliday, Deputy British High Commissioner to Ghana, said: “Chevening is more than a scholarship; it is an investment in people with the ambition, leadership potential and commitment to create positive change.

As applications open, the British High Commission in Accra is also preparing to celebrate Ghana’s newest Chevening and Commonwealth Scholars ahead of their departure to the UK this September, highlighting both the achievements of this year’s cohort and the search for the next generation of Ghanaian leaders.

The United Kingdom has opened applications for the 2027–2028 Chevening Scholarships, offering emerging leaders and professionals from Ghana the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree at a UK university while joining a global network of future leaders.
