This Saturday on Prime Insight: Ministerial reshuffle, democracy debate take centre stage

The upcoming edition of Prime Insight on Joy Prime will focus on two major issues expected to dominate Ghana’s political conversation: President John Dramani Mahama’s latest ministerial reshuffle and renewed claims of threats to democratic governance.

The programme will also consider the political calculations behind the changes and whether the reshuffle is intended primarily to improve performance, strengthen political coordination or reposition the government ahead of the next phase of its administration.

The first discussion will examine the changes in government, including the movement of Kenneth Gilbert Adjei and Ahmed Ibrahim, alongside the appointment of Mahama Ayariga and Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings to new ministerial responsibilities.
