Techiman North to roll out strict school code of conduct; chiefs warn against interceding for errant students

The Techiman North District Assembly is rolling out a comprehensive code of conduct for both basic and senior high schools, marking a significant intervention to stem the rising tide of student indiscipline and enhance academic outcomes across the district.

DCE: Discipline is the bedrock of academic excellence Speaking at the event, the District Chief Executive (DCE), Adom Kwabena Johnson, explained that the initiative was spearheaded by the District Education Oversight Committee (DEOC) as a proactive response to troubling reports of student misconduct making headlines across the country.

By instituting a clear, district-wide framework, the Assembly hopes to create a predictable, safe, and conducive learning environment that fosters both character development and academic excellence.
