Teachers' strike hits BECE candidates, Abokobi Presby Salem students cry out

File photo of strike action Final-year students of Abokobi Presby Salem in the Ga East Municipality have lamented that the ongoing teachers' strike is seriously affecting their preparations for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The students appealed to the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, to intervene and address the concerns of the teachers to enable them to return to the classroom.
According to the students, the strike has left them stranded at home, with no teaching and learning taking place at a time when they are preparing for their final examinations.
