Suame Interchange Phase 2 to open by end of October 2026 – Agbodza
The second phase of the Suame Interchange Project in Kumasi is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of October 2026, Roads and Highways Minister Kwame Governs Agbodza has announced.
Phase 2 of the project is currently about 87 percent complete and covers the construction of three overpasses and internal roads intended to improve traffic movement and reduce congestion in the Suame area.
The completion of Phase 2 is expected to improve movement along the Suame corridor and create the conditions for further work on the remaining components of the interchange.
