Rev. Wengam re-elected Assemblies of God, Ghana General Superintendent 

The peaceful conclusion of the elections and the 32nd Biennial General Council Meeting, the church’s highest decision-making body, paves the way for the newly elected Executive Presbytery to lead Assemblies of God, Ghana, over the next four years.

Stephen Yenusom Wengam has been overwhelmingly re-elected as General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, securing nearly 90 per cent of votes cast during the church’s 32nd Biennial General Council Meeting at Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region.

Looking ahead, the General Superintendent announced that the church’s attention would now shift to the World Assemblies of God Fellowship Congress, scheduled to take place in Ghana from October 14 to 16, 2026.
