Reshuffle: Brogya Genfi dropped as Deputy Minister, Pelpuo moved to Special initiatives

President John Dramani Mahama has made another resuffle to his government, with the Minister for Labour, Employment and Job Creation, Dr Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo, moving to the Special Initiatives portfolio.
The Minister of State for Special Initiatives, Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, has been appointed to take over the Labour, Employment and Job Creation Ministry.
Mr Adjei took over the Defence Ministry following the death of the then Defence Minister, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, and the then Environment Minister, Dr Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, in the military helicopter crash in August 2025.
