In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) Mama Ablewor said the absence of a police facility meant residents had to travel considerable distances to access police services, a situation that could delay emergency responses to crime and other security incidents.

Mama Ablewor Ashiakpor IV, the Paramount Queen Mother of the Weta Traditional Area Mama Ablewor Ashiakpor IV, the Paramount Queen Mother of the Weta Traditional Area, has appealed to the Government and the Ghana Police Service to urgently re-establish a police station at Ehi in the Ketu North Municipality to strengthen security and law enforcement in the area.

She therefore appealed to the Government, the Ghana Police Service and other relevant stakeholders to provide the necessary support and resources to restore the police station at Ehi to serve the community and the wider Weta Traditional Area.
