Police,Ahafo Ano South West Assembly step up efforts to improve security

The Ashanti Regional Police Commander, Commissioner of Police (COP), Osei Akoto Arthur, has paid a working to the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West District, Abubakar Sedik, to strengthen collaboration between the Ghana Police Service and the district assembly in promoting peace and security.

Officials present The meeting was attended by senior police officers including the Second-in-Command, ACP Francis Somia, Regional Operations Commander, ACP Opoku Koduah, MTTD Commander, Superintendent Kwame Boadi, Staff Officer, ASP Augustine Antwi, Tepa Divisional Police Commander, ACP Eunice Annor, Regional Public Relations Officer, ASP Gordon Ahiafor and ASP Christiana Ohenewaa, District Crime Officer, Mankranso and the Presiding Member of the Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly, Paul Conscious Amagboe .

The engagement also reaffirmed the commitment of the District Assembly and the Ghana Police Service to working together to create a safer and more secure environment for residents and businesses in the Ahafo Ano South West District.
