He stressed that the party’s 2028 presidential contest was settled on January 31, 2026 and urged party leaders, communicators and activists to focus on winning the 2028 presidential election and securing a parliamentary majority.

He further argued that genuine support for Dr Bawumia’s presidential bid should be demonstrated through constructive action rather than what he described as malicious claims, needless attacks and speculation about the ambitions of other party members.“Our focus must therefore remain firmly on winning the 2028 presidential election and securing a parliamentary majority,” he said.
