NSMQ 2026: Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ going ‘beck’ to Tanoso after Bishop Herman deals them early exit

Returning Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS’ much-anticipated comeback to the National Science and Maths Quiz has ended in disappointment after Bishop Herman College dealt them a decisive blow in the battle for a place in the One-Eighth Stage.

Bishop Herman continued to pull away in Round Three, reaching 37 points, while Dabala moved to 24 and Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ struggled on 14.

Bishop Herman dominated from the opening round, taking an early 24–11 lead over Yaa Asantewaa Girls’, with debutants Dabala SHTS on 15.
