NDC yet to deliver key 2024 campaign promises – Afenyo-Markin

On the 24-Hour Economy, Mr Afenyo-Markin said the NDC presented the policy as a major intervention that would create jobs and expand economic activity through a three-shift system.

He said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) campaigned on Free SHS ahead of the 2016 general election and began implementing the policy in September 2017, months after assuming office.“When Akufo-Addo came into office, he said Free SHS; immediately, immediately, one can see that he announced the policy, the Finance Minister came to Parliament, and Free SHS has started, and everybody could attest to it; however, the criticism has started.”
