NDC won't be a vehicle for anyone's third-term ambition – Koku Anyidoho

Koku Anyidoho is former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Koku Anyidoho, former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former spokesperson to President John Evans Atta Mills, has aligned himself with the current leadership of the party in opposing what he described as any third-term agenda allegedly being pursued by some individuals close to President John Dramani Mahama.” The Founder and CEO of the MILLS (Mindset, Integrity, Loyalty, Leadership, Service) Institute for Public Policy Advocacy and Transformational Leadership Development maintained that “the NDC is a conscientious political party” and would not support any agenda that seeks to undermine the democratic principles it helped establish under the 1992 Constitution.

In his post, Anyidoho further stated that even if the Supreme Court were to interpret Article 66(2) of the 1992 Constitution in a way that permits a person who has served two non-consecutive terms as President to contest again, the NDC would not endorse such a move.
