NCCE equips Ashanti region student leaders with governance, anti-corruption skills

The Ashanti Regional Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) has organised this year's Youth Leaders' Empowerment Dialogue Session for student leaders from selected tertiary institutions in the region, equipping them with knowledge on the rule of law, whistleblower protections and ethical leadership.

He explained the protections available to whistleblowers, the procedures for accessing information from public institutions, and the importance of both laws in promoting transparency, accountability and citizen participation in governance.

The Regional Director of the NCCE, Akua Zakaria, spoke on the Rule of Law, stressing that respect for the Constitution and the laws of Ghana is fundamental to democratic governance.
