Mercy Ships set to perform over 2,000 free surgeries in Ghana

Unpacking the agreement between Ghana and Mercy Ships She added that the initiative would go beyond the provision of surgeries, as Mercy Ships would collaborate with the Government of Ghana, particularly the Ministry of Health, to provide medical services, as well as training and mentoring opportunities.

According to Mogtari, the ship will be staffed by qualified medical volunteers who will provide the surgical services during their time with Mercy Ships.

Senior Presidential Advisor to President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has announced that Mercy Ships will provide more than 2,000 free surgeries to patients in Ghana.
