Mahama sets GH¢1bn Bawku revitalisation plan in motion

President Mahama says the GH¢1 billion Bawku Revitalisation Fund is ready for implementation, setting the stage for a major government-backed effort to rebuild the conflict-affected area and restore economic activity.

From peace to development President Mahama said the government’s decision to activate the revitalisation fund follows the progress made since the Otumfuo Mediation Committee presented its report on December 16, 2025.“The allocation for the Bawku Revitalisation Fund has now been made, and it is GH¢1 billion,” President Mahama said.
