HTU to integrate circular economy into academic programmes

Prof Honyenuga said the University had developed relevant curricula and would roll out a number of short certificate and professional development courses in circular economy-related areas.
He said beyond the classroom, the HTU was leveraging the Ghana Circular Economy Centre project to strengthen its work in innovation, entrepreneurship and technology development through its incubation programme and innovation spaces.
He made the remarks during the opening ceremony of the maiden Ghana Circular Economy Annual Conference 2026, organised by the Ghana Circular Economy Centre (GCEC) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in partnership with Global Affairs Canada hosted by HTU in Ho.
