How Ayariga reacted to a question on the 'controversial' National Cathedral

'National Cathedral was a must for Ghana' – Sir David Adjaye He said he would support efforts to continue the construction if the Christian community remains committed to the completion of the project and the President agrees to its continuation.

Mahama Ayariga is the Bawku Central MP The Minister-designate for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Mahama Ayariga, has pledged to help mobilise support for the completion of the National Cathedral if approved by Parliament.“And I want to assure you that if they remain committed to the construction of a national cathedral, I will engage the president, and if it is the wish of the president, I will wholeheartedly support and mobilize for the project to be continued and, God willing, completed,” he said.
