GoldBod CEO denies claims of concealed financial information

44 billion overall surplus reported by GoldBod and suggested that the Auditor-General may not have received the full financial picture of its operations.

Mr Gyamfi described the claims of incomplete disclosure as an attempt to undermine the credibility of the Auditor-General’s work and urged critics to rely on the findings in the official audit report.

Speaking during the Government’s Accountability Series on Wednesday, he explained that the audit report from the Auditor-General had no adverse findings against the GoldBod, including any findings on alleged losses, procurement breaches, or violations of the Public Financial Management Act.
