GCB Bank's trade expertise earns national recognition

The Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry (MOTAI) appointed GCB Bank PLC to the National Planning Committee and several technical sub-committees overseeing Ghana's participation in the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2026, one of the world's premier trade and investment platforms.

Team named Subsequently, GCB Bank has nominated its Head of State-Owned Enterprises and Afro-Asia Banking Department, Aurelia Baaba Ofori Odame, to represent the bank on the National Planning Committee for Ghana's participation in the China International Import Expo, a specialised World Expo 2027 in Belgrade, Serbia, and the Green X Expo 2027 in Yokohama, Japan.

GCB Bank has in recent years strengthened its support for international trade through its Africa and Asia Corridor strategy, providing tailored financial solutions, facilitating business linkages and supporting exporters seeking access to regional and international markets.
