ECG Power outage schedule for August 24

ECG has announced an 8-hour power outage in parts of the Ashanti Region on Monday, August 24, as GRIDCo continues work on the Anwomaso-Ridge transmission line.
The project will replace the existing 364MVA single-circuit line with a 976MVA double-circuit transmission system to improve power supply in the Ashanti Region.
The upgrade is expected to more than double the line’s transmission capacity and improve the reliability and stability of electricity supply in Kumasi and other parts of the Ashanti Region.
