ASP Frimpong said during intelligence operations, the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) received credible information indicating Agambaa’s involvement in an organised armed robbery syndicate responsible for several attacks on the complainant.

He said on June 16, 2026, the Police received a report from the complainant, whose name was withheld, a resident of Zaare and owner of a food joint at the Bolga Lorry Station.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Seth Frimpong, who led the prosecution, told the Court that a surveillance and intelligence-led operation was conducted in Bolgatanga and its environs following a proliferation of firearm-related and robbery cases.
