CLOGSAG’s Bampoe Addo was a formidable voice for workers – FWSC eulogises

The Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) has described the death of the Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), Dr Isaac Bampoe Addo, as a major loss to organised Labour and Ghana’s public service.

Dr Smith-Graham also recalled the late CLOGSAG Executive Secretary’s participation in the FWSC’s stakeholder engagement on the establishment of the Independent Public Emoluments Commission (IPEC), held at the Lancaster Hotel shortly before his death.“His passing, therefore, represents a significant loss not only to CLOGSAG but also to organised labour, the public service, the social partnership community, and Ghana as a whole,” he said.
