A specialist review by Dr Ankit Jitani, Consultant Haematologist and Bone Marrow Transplant Specialist in India, recommends further assessment, immunotherapy-based salvage treatment, and an autologous bone marrow transplant once remission is achieved.

I am currently receiving salvage chemotherapy while preparing for an autologous stem cell (bone marrow) transplant, which my doctors have recommended as my best chance for long-term recovery.
