Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana was number 1 on the ballot Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana has been elected Savannah Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), defeating incumbent Clifford Abdallah Braimah by a slim margin.

In other results from the Savannah Regional elections, Aboagye Kwame was elected Vice Chairman.

Braimah, a former Managing Director of Ghana Water Limited, was seeking to retain his position as the party’s regional chairman.
