80% of People Killed in Road Crashes in Ghana Are Men – GhIE

Now, a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) has highlighted another worrying dimension of the country’s road crash situation, revealing that men constitute about 80 per cent of people who die in road crashes.

Dr Asafo-Adjei was discussing Ghana’s road safety situation and public infrastructure following the release of GhIE’s latest infrastructure scorecard.

He said using reliable data to guide road safety interventions could help authorities identify high-risk locations and take measures to prevent further loss of lives.
