Tax & Compliance Supervisor at Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited

Summary

• We are seeking a qualified Tax & Compliance Supervisor with strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax regulations, tax audit processes, financial reporting, and transfer pricing compliance. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely tax filings, support tax audits, assess tax risks, and maintain compliance with applicable tax laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file accurate monthly and annual tax returns, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and PAYE.
• Support tax audits by preparing required schedules, documentation, and financial information.
• Assist with the preparation and review of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare annual Transfer Pricing returns and maintain supporting documentation for related-party transactions.
• Review payment vouchers before audit to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and requirements.
• Conduct periodic internal tax risk assessments to identify potential tax exposures and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and organized tax records and supporting documentation for reporting and audit purposes.
• Perform other tax and finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Masters from a recognized institution and a Chartered Tax Practitioner qualification (MCITG).
• 5 years proven experience or exposure to tax audit operations.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and PAYE.
• Knowledge of Transfer Pricing requirements and related-party transactions.
• Proficiency in accounting software; SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial and tax information.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
